Undaunted and determined to clutch the title, the University of the Immaculate Conception-College of Medical and Biological Sciences (UIC-CMBS) hailed as the overall champion among eight participating schools during the third annual Medical Technology Week on October 11, 2020, via Zoom. In line with the event’s theme, “CONNECT 2020: Orchestrating the success in the new normal,” the activity was spearheaded by the Association of Medical Technology Students (AMTS) participated by different schools with the aim of upholding the profession and promoting the roles of medical technologists towards the success of giving optimum healthcare in the new normal.

It has been noted that the course is a dreadful endeavor, but these kinds of recreational activities not only emblazon the course for these also lets the students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in art.

Early in the competition, UIC had shown consistency and quality in their entries which shows their strength as a united front. With the undeniable skills and talents that the UICians showed, their effort and support to one another led them to bag multiple awards.

In the Online Quiz Bee competition for both second and third-year levels, UIC ranked third by the participation of Denzyl Corina Odi and Neshel Joy Lumawag respectively. UICians also grabbed third place in the Mobile Legends Tournament by the Team Avengers as well as in the Meme Creation Contest participated by Kristina Kaira Lacia.
